Here’s what makes us different….

I’m guessing you're reading this blog because you're interested in investing and supporting local change. Chances are you want to make a difference. You want to support local change that actively solves real problems without creating more.

In a world overflowing with hurt and huge needs, it's normal to feel overwhelmed and helpless when it comes to wanting to make a real difference.

But at NCI, we do things differently. Our approach is holistic, sustainable, and relational, creating a real, noticeable difference at the local level.

What makes Norlane Community Initiatives unique is that our team lives in the neighbourhood.

Our neighbours are our friends.

Their pains are our pains.

Their wins are our wins.

As members of the very community in which we serve, we deeply understand the challenges Norlane is trying to overcome and we witness the untapped potential, resilience and strength of our local community everyday!

We believe that local transformation happens best when it actively involves the people who live here. That's why our team lives and works alongside our neighbours to co-create shared solutions to local challenges and opportunities. We're committed to learning, connecting, integrating, and becoming an integral part of the community.

It means we can go deeper, build trust and create real, systematic change that will impact future generations.

And we're in it for the long haul!!

Over the coming years we want to activate local residents to take more leadership, revitalize key spaces in our community and grow a movement of neighbours working, living and sharing life together to co-create a thriving neighbourhood.

But we need your support to make the vision come to life.

If you're ready to back a movement that's doing things a little differently, we'd love to invite you to become a regular donor and partner with us as we create sustainable transformation in our community.

Even the smallest contributions make a massive difference!
